This journey takes you through Khardung-La Pass, the world's highest all-season motorable road. Descend into Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery, and enjoy the exquisite double-humped Bactrian Camel Ride amidst the sand dunes. Camp under the stars.
Drive towards Turtuk, the last outpost in India before the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Experience a unique culture, dramatic narrow valleys, steep mountains, and green pastures yielding fresh apricots and apples. Return to Nubra for an overnight stay.
Head to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border. Watch one of the highest altitude saline water lakes change its colors from shades of blue to green to red. Recreate moments from famous Bollywood movies and camp near the lake.
